Alaskan Yellow Cedar: Uniform pale yellow color when new, shingles will weather to light silver grey over time. Fine texture and straight grain, Yellow Cedar shingles are naturally resistant to insects, stable with little shrinkage, these shingles can be finished with stain, paint or left natural. Nominal length is 18" and shall be random width with a minimum width of 4" and with a thickness of 5/8" or 3/4". There are minimal tolerances in a bundle. For use on walls or roof where durable, uniform appearance is desired.
